In BMC Almasrya we understand the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and we step up to do our part to care for our community and the planet. Our program is built of three main pillars; the environment, our community's infrastructure, and education.



Environmental



AT BMC ALMASRYA, WHEN WE THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE, WE THINK GREEN.



The future will be either green or not at all.
Numbers don't lie.





Our current energy consumption releases 848,000 kilograms of CO2 annually, this is the equivalent of:


- 315,544 liters of gasoline burned.

- 420,793 kilograms of coal burned.

- 108,204,556 smartphones charged.


14,031 tree seedlings grown for 10 years are needed to offset this amount.



By 2022, we promise no more waste. and we believe recycling is the key.





- Empty raw materials packaging is reused including barrels and plastic containers.

- Paper and plastics are recycled.

- Scrap from production is utilized again minimizing waste.

- Manufacturing, handling activities, and operations will rely on solar energy.



2025, Full commitment to green, conserving energy and using Solar.





- We plan to supply 50% of our energy needs using green resources by 2022 and supplying 100% by 2025.

- We will build and operate an on a grid-solar energy plant.

- Fossil fuel consuming machinery will be replaced with electric alternatives 2030.



Towards a greener environment and clean energy.



We're taking one step at a time and our ultimate goal is to manufacture and handle operations in the most environment-friendly manner and with zero waste.



Community Infrastructure



Here at BMC Almasrya, We believe that quality of life begins at home, its in the streets and around the community.



WE STRIVE FOR LASTING IMPACT






- Together with local NGOs, we are working on improving sanitation in poor villages by providing our top of class products free of charge.

-We plan on replacing the current infrastructure in poor villages and deprived areas around Egypt with a sustainable system.



Health matters. A promise to the community.



- We have a passion for ensuring the community's well-being and we know this starts from supporting health care in deprived areas.

- We provide funding to NGOs and Government hospitals for medical equipment and health care facilities renovation.



Educational



The most accurate measurement for the greatness of a community is the compassionate actions of its members.



Passion can grow with correct knowledge. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.



We invest in knowledge because we know it pays best.



- Introducing programs that work on enhancing business knowledge in all fields.

- Offering alternative modes of learning.

- Refining student technical skills to cope with the industry and understand the market needs.



Technical training





A partnership with IECD (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement) and technical schools to offer summer internships for students.


It's a great opportunity for students to get involved in the industrial field and uncover their hidden potentials.



Meet project z!





We launched Project Z; a project targeting generation Z university students and runs during the summer months.


Project Z targets undergraduates and intends to offer a successful demonstration of the importance of employers engagement in education and training.
